And we have a 500 meter scale bar there so you can get a sense of the high resolution of these images. We're going to scroll from south to north which is how the MRO Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft flies. And look at these enhanced colors, the orangest areas are rich in clay minerals according to the imaging spectrometers in orbit. The blue-green patches are peroxene-rich unaltered rocks.
